About Buster
We’re all about helping people, improving cultures, and solving problems. We do that through effective interventions (that are both data-based and creative) that dramatically increase both personal satisfaction and organizational impact.
What we do and why
At Buster, we hold these truths to be self-evident:
- Better work experiences create better work
- People do their best when they feel respected, heard, valued, and supported
- People want to do good work and are frustrated by the obstacles that get in the way
- It’s easy to get stuck in traps (in-fighting, fire-fighting, old habits) that end up wasting time, eroding trust, and squashing energy.
- An experienced partner with the right tools can make a big difference
… and where
We’ve provided services to clients throughout the U.S., as well as in Argentina, Canada, China, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
A bit about Mickey
For over two decades, Mickey has been changing the world with an easel and some colored markers. He has helped literally thousands of people in dozens of organizations on four continents create better work experiences and higher performance by helping them transform cold corporate spaces into vibrant, soulful communities.
Three core strengths weave throughout Mickey’s work and identity:
- He is a natural teacher, who over the course of last 30 years has educated people in countless board rooms, numerous classrooms, many virtual spaces, and one maximum security prison.
- He is an inventive problem solver, the kind of guy who can’t walk past a jigsaw puzzle without trying to work a few pieces.
- He is an unrepentant Samaritan who derives deep personal satisfaction from helping others become their best. (But he never says that, because he thinks it’s really corny.)
Residing in Albany, NY, Mickey is also an avid traveler who has visited every continent, has been active in community oversight of law enforcement on both the local and national levels, and is the co-author of two best-selling books on baseball.
But don’t take our word for it...
“I have worked with Mickey for 15+ years, in various roles, because no one is better at getting the best out of teams, growing leaders, and improving cultures. His expertise is a big reason why, but equally important is his genuineness – his caring, energy, and disarming humor allow all kinds of people to quicky trust him and relate to what he is saying. I will always use Mickey to tackle our most challenging issues.”

“I first experienced Mickey when he co-led a leadership development program at FedEx, where his knowledge and exceptional people skills had a huge impact on participants. Within months of starting my CHRO role, I contacted him to coach several CEOs in our nonprofit organization; he has now coached more than a dozen leaders, with great effect. His focus on practical application, combined with his accessible, warm style really helps leaders get to the next level.”

“Mickey Bradley is a trusted professional with a special talent for facilitating delicate and complex Diversity Equity and Inclusion trainings. Since 2017, I have had the pleasure of inviting him into our programs for courses such as Collaborative Conflict, Communicating Across Differences, Allyship in Action, Power & Privilege in the Workplace, and more. He is a fan favorite among leadership and staff alike which is why I work with him and recommend him again and again.”

“Mickey [is] the best facilitator I've had at any training in my life (and I've been at Google 12 years and elsewhere before, so that's saying a lot)! Brilliant at breaking down all the knowledge and research and communicating it in a very interesting and effective way. Even more, [he is] the best I've seen, by far, in creating a space where people can feel safe to be uncomfortable, speak up, make mistakes and GROW.”
